The woman taking our order had no idea what was GF. She finally got someone from the kitchen who was slightly more helpful. Despite saying “no bread” and watching her enter my order as a gluten allergy it still came out with bread on top of the meat and she didn’t understand why she couldn’t just “take it off”. They somehow messed up all 3 of my kids orders too. I watched her enter them and they were entered correctly so not sure how that happened. Smoked wings and ribs were really good, but not sure I’ll be back as it was a somewhat stressful experience.

Great lunch spot with ample off street parking. While the menu was not marked; they validated each food item for me and ensured the bread wouldn’t be added to my plate.

This was the best meal I have had since moving from Arizona!! The BBQ was out of this world. No reason to visit anywhere else. I had the truckload potato with chicken not sure what was different but the potato was pure delight. My compliments to the chef!!

The majority of items on Rodney Scott’s menu are gluten free. I spoke with their manager and the only things that contain gluten are all fried items, mac-n-cheese, and bread. I ordered the pork plate with NO bread and specified I have Celiac. My meal was treated with care and I did not get sick.
All meats and sauces are gluten free!! Such an enjoyable experience. I will be back!
