Really wanted to like this place since the reviews were so promising. Family of 4 and none of us liked our meal. GF vegetarian version of the cheese quesadilla was horrible. Couldn't even finish it, even the side guacamole was served half browned! We spent $8 on a guacamole and chips appetizer which is clearly marked GF on the menu and it was served with a non GF pita chip sticking out of it! Spent way too much $ with way too many disappointments. We will NOT be giving Rojo's a second chance.
My husband has celiacs, so eating out is always a risk. We were in the mood for Mexican food last night and decided to try this restaurant. It was probably the most wonderful dining experience either one if us has ever had! We ordered guacamole to start, and given my hubby's earlier inquiry about gf beer (which unfortunately they don't have) the server informed us our chips would be prepared separately. They were less greasy and very delicious. Dinner was great. He was able to order gf beef enchiladas, which is never an option for him. Food was tasty, warm and spicy (which we loved!). Service was impeccable. They refilled our drinks every time they were half empty, and checked on us just enough that it wasn't annoying. When it was time to refill our chips, they made us a special batch again, without us having to reminder out server. And best if all, this morning he still feels great. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this place. I am normally not one to even write a review on a restaurant, but our experience was THAT GOOD! Enjoy!!!
The staff was very friendly and the food delicious! The gluten free quesadillas were amazing and they serve gluten free beans and rice with it.

First I do need to point out that they "do not" have a dedicated gluten-free fryer as some post may have indicated however they do change the fryer grease regularly almost every two days or so and at that point they make gluten-free chips so they will have gluten-free chips as long as they're available and not consumed to the point there are no more. as to the gluten free fryer you will not have the opportunity to get any fried food as the prior is not always gluten-free or Celiac friendly there for stick with the menu items the staff is very knowledgeable there are plenty of enchiladas corn tortilla and most certainly don't forget the happy hour and which they have jumbo margaritas, strawberry peach raspberry and mango yum I am a Celiac individual with severe allergies I have no problem eating here and highly recommended

Extremely poor service, some knowledge of gluten free options but the staff is very poor and doesn’t care enough to assure you get GF food. Two non-celiacs in our party had food poisoning as well. All around terrible experience and will never go back.
Waitress was knowledgeable and helpful. She double checked with cooks with everything to confirm things were prepared gluten free. My daughter had tacos on corn tortillas and beans along with gluten free chips. She LOVED the chips so they gave her a to go box full. No reactions after!
