EH, it was fair. Didn't get sick but didn't like the food at all. Got tacos. How do you mess up tacos?!

Waitress was very knowledgeable. Some of the gf menu includes deep fried items from a shared fryer, I didn’t even have to ask snd the waitress told me those items weren’t safe for a “gluten allergy.” Had salmon lettuce wraps, they were yummy. Will be back.

Such a great place to eat! They have a separate gf menu with a lot of fun choices! The waiter even brought me out tortilla chips while my family was eating an appetizer I couldn't eat. The atmosphere is so really cool and would love to go back! O have celiac and didn't get sick.
Delicious and safe for celiacs! They have a separate gf menu, and our waiter and the kitchen was cross contamination and the need to be ultra cautious.

I look forward to a weekly gluten free cheese free margarita pizza each week from roosters!

Great options! Everything was very good.

I am a highly sensitive Celiac and I have never gotten sick at Roosters. This is our "go to" place, both the Layton and Ogden locations. Some GF items might change slightly between the two - so always ask to make sure. Food is great, the fish tacos are my favorite!

enjoyed the pizza, and their root beer they make.
great gluten free menu. delicious food!

Full GF menu. Knowledgable staff. Amazing GF enchiladas . Delicious

I have eaten at both the Layton and Ogden locations numerous times and have never gotten sick and I am extremely sensitive. The fish tacos are amazing and so is the margarita pizza.
Traveling thru town and needed a place to eat. I read the previous reviews and decided to try Roosters for dinner. I asked for the gluten free menu, but after asking a few questions soon realized that not all items listed on the gluten free menu are actually gluten free. For example, fish tacos: corn tortillas are dipped in fryer oil and pan fried. This is the same oil used for gluten food items. I had plain garden salad and was okay, but I wouldn't recommend eating here if you are celiac or gluten intolerant. Too risky IMO.

I have eaten here twice. I have celiac. Food was great and wait staff well informed. Whenever celiacs eat in a restaurant that is not completely gf we take risk of cross contamination. It is our risk. I will eat at Roosters again
Roosters has a great gluten free menu and it was more than just a salad and steak option! Loved the enchiladas and my husband had the fish tacos! Our waitress was attentive and very knowledgeable to my needs. Thank you for a great dinner out!
when I first learned that Roosters offered a GF menu I was so excited to try a new place for my family memorial day visit. I always make sure to double ,triple check what ingredients are in the food I am choosing. I have a severe case of celiacs, and I expressed my concern to the waitress. Bottom line...I was promised the salad dressing/food was GF. Before even leaving the restaurant I was immediately ill . It ended up with a hospital visit from dehydration. The manager was contacted and both the server and him admitted their fault, and told my Dad to send the hospital bill.(I have no health insurance) of corse now once I got the $800 bill there are accusations of needing to take lie detection tests etc to not follow through with their admittance, and taking care of the hospital bill. I realize people make mistakes but...if you make a mistake and recognize it...follow through with what you've promised!!! I would not wish this horrific experience and place on my worst enemy!!!! shame on you!!!! believe me I will continue to.spread the word.
I love their gluten free menu!! Now only if they brewed GF beer... ;)
Got the brisket and so sick.

Super friendly and knowledgeable, caring staff! I had a veggie wrap - lettuce wrapped, instead of a tortilla. I had them add chicken and it was amazing! No reaction whatsoever and was very satisfied!

Went today, not only was their service terrible but so was the food. We ordered the spinach cheese crab dip for an appetizer that was on the gf menu, I asked after we received it (didn’t see a waitress much in between) and asked what kind of crab. 15 minutes later (after it’s cold now) someone comes back to tell us it’s imitation crab and I pointed out not much of that is gf if she could check. Came another 15 minutes later to tell us she was told wrong “they only ever use real crab”. My carne asada tacos were chewy and tasteless and my sisters pepperoni pizza tasted like it was on a sacrament cracker. Not impressed. Too expensive for the quality and portion sizes. Will not go again. Place was dirty, slow, and not good. We will see if I get glutened by tomorrow.
