The server was very knowledgeable and explained how everything would be prepared. She made a note on the ticket for the cook to “see server” so she could explain what needed to be done to keep me safe. They have gluten free bread and will toast in a skillet rather than with other bread. Same with the hash browns. The food was just okay but the feeling of comfort in ordering was really good.

Staff is very knowledgeable! The management takes care to make sure their staff is trained. The food is good, not amazing, large portions. No dedicated fryer so fries are not an option. They take care to prepare the food in separate clean pans. We have eaten there several times.

Server was SUPER friendly about the gluten allergy. She even had the kitchen move the food to the oven to avoid cross contamination as much as possible.

Great experience at Rooster’s for breakfast this morning! I’m celiac and Jessica was really accommodating and told me what I could and couldn’t eat (and was also knowledgeable about cross contamination). She also talked to the kitchen staff to make sure they prepared my food separately. They do have gluten free French toast but it is dipped in the same egg mix, but they can do toast in a pan instead of the toaster so it’s safe. I ended up getting hashbrowns and bacon and it was delicious! It was a nice quick breakfast.

Food is your typical breakfast place/cafe. GF bread. We got the Ultimate Rooster - hash browns, meat, and eggs. It was tasty, but not amazing. Server was friendly and happy to verify GF ingredients with the kitchen, though I got the sense that they’re not knowledgeable enough to know to check for ingredients other than wheat.. good thing we’re not celiac.

Waitress was not very friendly about my GF questions. She even rolled her eyes as she was walking away. They have bread and about 4 items on the menu labeled GF. Fries and chips are fried in same fryer as gluten items. The homemade ranch dressing was great. The sandwich was pretty gross. I did not get sick but doubt I will go back.

Well, after reading other reviews, I thought this would be a great place to eat with my son who has a wheat allergy. Wrong! They do have GF buns and bread, but that is all. Our server could not even tell us if the fries were safe and wouldn't check. What made matters worse, is my husband and I both got food poisoning from our meals. My food was cold which should have been my first clue. I will not return here; ever :(

After reading the reviews our celiac family decided to give this restaurant a try and we are so glad we did! The food was amazing, the service was wonderful and the prices are not crazy. When we pass through Pendleton again we will be back!

Server not friendly to the idea of true gluten free. Had an omelet and hash browns. Both are cooked on same griddle as all the gluten items. I wanted her to verify they would clean the griddle before making my meal. She reluctantly asked the cook. I ended up sick but I think it was food poison as it's been three days and my gut is still cramping. Definitely won't go back.

A great experience! Food was wonderful. GF items identified with symbol on menu. My wife loved loved the GF Yankee Pot Roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, and veggies. Our waitress Darlene was fantastic. Clean place with attractive interior.

This isn't a dedicated gf restaurant but the staff is great about answering questions. They mark the items on their menu that are gluten free. I've eaten here a few times, and have had good experiences every time.
