Twice my daughter has gotten very ill after eating off the gluten free menu. I wouldn't risk it

Most of the staff at least knows what I'm talking about when I say I'm gluten free. I've eaten there several times and I have not been sick. They take it seriously. I feel this place is safe to eat for Celicacs. Just make sure to tell them as they do handle breads.

Oh so good! Pulled pork, beef, brisket, loaded Redskin potatoes, and a couple sides were all delicious. I can’t wait to go back!

My coworker and I were passing through the Almont area on our way back from a conference, and we were looking for a place to stop for lunch. I’d pulled open the app to see if there was anything listed and Roots was right at the top, so that’s where we went. And oh my goodness, it’s fantastic. They have a separate gluten free menu with fantastic options. There are 3 entree options as well as all of the smoked meats, and the barbecue sauces are all gluten free. There are also a good number of sides to choose from, and the servings are massive! If you happen to be in the Almont area, this is a must-visit!
