Everyone was very helpful and answered questions I had. Even went back to confirm with kitchen multiple times. Food was brought out separately by a manager who confirmed it was gluten free

They are trying...but unfortunately there is some major source of contamination. I ordered a spinach arugula salad with grilled chicken. Wait staff was very nice and assured me the kitchen knows how to make it safe. I tested a piece of the chicken, dressing, and feta cheese together in my Nima sensor... gluten detected! They were concerned about insisted the next one would be better as the kitchen would clean better. So the remade one was without the dressing and cheese. I tested the chicken and beets... gluten detected! The staff was very apologetic and concerned. I obviously ate nothing. The staff was very apologetic and nice but I don't recommend Rosewood Grill until they figure out the issue.
No
Disappointing number of gluten free options.
The prices are really high. There is no allergen menu. They expect you to figure out what you think will be safe and then they will see if it is or if they can make it that way. The baked potato and the Gorgonzola crusted potatoes were the highlights for my husband and I. Although they used margarine on my baked instead of butter(pretty cheap when your paying $27 for a 6z sirloin and a baked potato, no sides) My Mother in law loved her tomato soup with blue cheese and bread but they were anything but gluten free. My stomach wasn't really wrecked but it wasn't entire clean as it signaled cross contamination. I even specifically asked them to be aware of how they cooked my steak. Could be the margarine is cross contaminated by bread but who knows. The atmosphere is nice although the trend of load rock music in a place trying to be fine dining isn't something I will ever get used to. The fireplace outside would be a nice place to have a cocktail. This isn't on our going back to list.
I ate here twice in 4 days and each time the wait staff were informed and considerate of my multiple food allergies. They were willing to modify anything they could.
I am hesitant to mark this as celiac friendly as I am unsure as to whether they have a designated area in their kitchen where they prepare gluten free food. BUT, upon request, they have a specific menu with all the allergens highlighted. There is not much without gluten, but the manager said they could modify some of the items. I ordered the half chicken with puréed sweet potatoes that was topped with toasted marshmallows. Yum! The server was knowledgable as well, highlighting what she recommended that was gluten free. My only complaint was that the half chicken was not marked as containing gluten, but as soon as I ordered, the server pointed out the sauce on the side contained gluten but they would put it on the side. As a celiac, that made me a little nervous of cross contamination. Thankfully, The manager brought out my plate (which I thought was nice) and pointed out that they did not even include the sauce at all due to it containing gluten. They seemed to take extra steps to ensure your meal was free of allergens. Both the server and manager seemed knowledgable and understanding. Will be going back again :)
They have a color coded menu for allergens making it easy to order. Love the sweet potato fries!
