Turn around and go somewhere else. Have given them so many tries. Pasta is underdone with the fact that it’s gluten free being their excuse-they literally told me that.! Better off just not even offering it. Not enough GF options to warrant spending $200. So many better restaurants in the area…Rev is just down the street.

So first point this restaurant is absolutely safe! They understand. They know what's not ok, and they know how to make the food gluten free. They will go out of their way to fix you something that is safe for you to eat. However, it's an expensive restaurant and most of what's on the menu they cannot make gluten free. They do not have a dedicated fryolater so all fried foods are not available, although they will specially make you something different: they made us a delicious sauteed calamari appetizer. They were very sorry to say that they cannot do any eggplant or any veal gluten-free because those are pre-breaded (which is weird because they're making their own pasta, which is way more work than breading the cutlets, but maybe they're prepping all of their food off-site I don't know). They will make any of those meals for you, substituting chicken. But if I'm going to pay $100 for a meal at an Italian restaurant, I don't want to substitute chicken. YMMV

This is my favorite restaurant for a nice dinner (although a little pricey)! They have gf bread, plenty of pasta dishes, and fun cocktails. I’ve gone here plenty of times with no issues. My favorite dish is the truffle pasta with penne (their gf option). The staff is very knowledgeable about cross contamination and I feel safe dining there.
