This is a neighbourhood go-to for me! I always order the chai tea and one of their curries. Many of their menu sections are marked as GF, but it can be confusing what specific meals are also GF, so I haven't been too adventurous and have stayed away from anything fried. I always say that I'm Celiac when ordering, but I'm not sure they really know what that is. That said, I've never yet been sick here, and I'm very symptomatic.

Brought my celiac daughter here several times over the years and sometimes she felt “off” afterwards. Phoned tonight to ask about their fryer and they told us it’s not dedicated, so I’m guessing she may have been glutened by pakoras previously. Bummer, food was really tasty.

Sorry to have to leave this because staff have been helpful before, but wanted to flag the fryer issue for others.

Royal Spice is a wonderful restaurant with indoor seating, take out and their own delivery service. Gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu. Impressed that when ordering naan bread in a take out order for non celiac family members in addition to GF curries,they not only wrapped the naan separately but put it in a separate bag and labeled the bags GF and not GF. I have eaten food from them many times and it’s always great. My favourite it chilli chicken and navratan korma. I see they hosted a GF foodies meet up so they know their celiac safe food procedures. Highly recommended

Great gluten free options, the butter chicken and onion bhajia are fantastic! Consistently good and lots of gf choices.
