This was my first time eating out since my celiac diagnosis so I was a little nervous about having a waiter that would be impatient with me or getting glutened. But my waiter was awesome (I think his name was Aquiles) and he gave me a sheet that specifically listed out which things on the menu were gluten free (most tacos, burrito bowl, nachos, even their frying oil). The main menu indicated which items were gluten free as well. He also assured me that he would notify the kitchen staff about my celiac when he submitted my order. It seemed like the only thing with gluten there was their flour tortillas, most tacos automatically came with gf corn tortillas. I’m pretty sure I’m an asymptomatic celiac so I’m not totally sure whether I got glutened or not but I got a burrito bowl and was delicious! The precautions they seemed to have already set in place made me feel a lot better about my experience in general.
