Ruby Tuesday has gluten free options including gluten free buns for their burgers and sandwiches.
I went to this restaurant back in April and ha a wonderful experience so I was completely shocked with how horribly I was treated the second time I went. Apparently they think it's a great idea to have their food allergy patrons use their own phones and phone plans to download their menu. It took me thirty minutes to pull up the menu alone to then be told by our server, "Oh we could have given you an iPad with the menu all loaded up already." Why oh why would you do such a thing. My night just got worse from there. I calmed down and ordered a burger with a gluten free bun. I ate about half of the burger when I bit in and almost chipped a tooth. The roll was completely stale on one side and completely inedible. I complained to their corporate office and all I got back some generic message about making sure to tell your server about your allergy.
Servers were very knowledgable and nice. They have a menu for any kind of allergy. The ribs and GF sides were very good.
The food was very good, but the burgers were not cooked to order. The service was friendly, but the kitchen messed up my groups order twice. They gave me French fries, which I cannot have, instead of the mashed potatoes I asked for. There is a menu for ALL food allergies.
I asked to see their GF menu and they only had one copy so I had to wait 15 minutes while the other patron used it. Really? One copy? It's just a sheet of printer paper folks. Menu is limited and wait staff knowledge varies.
as a vegan with a gluten allergy, ruby Tuesday does have one dish that is quite good. the spagetti squash marinara was the only thing on menu I could eat but it was enjoyable. I gave 3 stars because waiter could have been more sensitive when he waved the cheddar biscuits under my gluten free nose. as gluten allergies become more understood, I hope they add more items to menu and possibly a dessert.
Ask the hostess for GF menu and it is extensive. Most of salad bar and dressings are GF. Had a very good chicken with honey bourbon sauce and grilled Brussels sprouts. Excellent and friendly service.
Ordered a gluten free prime burger. Got REALLY sick 🤢
I honestly have to brag about how amazing this Ruby Tuesday’s is. I have never gotten sick and they choose to take gluten-free very seriously. I’ve had the manager come out and talk to me several times to make sure my meal was safe i eat at least once a week here !
Absolutely no options other than salad with no dressing (other than oil). They can do a burger but said they do not clean the grill so can not guarantee no cross contamination issues.
While the staff was extremely kind and tried to be knowledgeable I ended up with cross contamination and ill. Be vigilant.
0 stars. Ordered a gluten free chicken sandwich. Was brought out a roll that was NOT gluten free. My food was taken back and remade but I chose not to eat it as I was already feeling sick and disgusted with the place. What was worse was NO manager came over to apologize or take my dish off the bill. I had to find a manager and request he remove it.
They don't even deserve one star. They were horrible. First the waitress wasn't very nice about my son saying he has a severe gluten allergy (we find that's easier than the blank stares when we say celiac), told us they were very careful with keeping his food gf and told us exactly which items were supposedly gf and then he got violently ill. My guess is they have zero clue how to avoid cross contamination. DON'T GO IF YOU HAVE CELIAC!!
AMAZING GF MENU/ITEM REVAMP!!! I have Celiac Disease & get sick very easily! I LOVE their GF buns!!! They're AMAZING!!!! Best bun I've had since 2009 when I was diagnosed. They also have GF Pasta & use separate utensils, water, etc. The meat for a burger or sandwich is cooked on foil on the grill to reduce cross contamination as well. Service was great, food was great as always! And, the added bonus of a bun/bread I didn't have to supply by bringing myself made the experience this time that much better!!! We love Ruby Tues for the salad bar & the food is typically great, we go whenever possible & this revamp on their GF menu/items makes it that much better!!! Drew was our server, great guy as well!
Was a fairly good sized gluten free menu. But it's not written down, you have to look it up online OR try and find their very small Gluten Free indicators on the regular menu. The food was good. The waiter and manage were both quite knowledgeable. The food, I was told, was prepped for celiac disease so I felt confident in the safety of the meal. Tasty to the point that my non-gluten free hubby liked it. I will be back again...AFTER I look online first at the menu. ;-)
I really appreciate that they have GF buns available and that you can cross reference several allergens on the website (which I would recommend before going, especially if you have more restrictions than just gluten!) I've always had friendly service here and particularly love the variety on the garden bar. Minus one star because the staff don't generally seem to be knowledgeable about allergens and I wish the garden bar was clearly marked so I don't have to sit on my phone reading the website for ingredient info, BUT they do have free WiFi so that helps! Also, it's kid friendly and we've always enjoyed the food.
Their gf menu has a good variety of options. I was able to have a burger with a gf bun and it was great! Very knowledgeable staff. We will definitely be back there again!
Be VERY careful eating at this location. The server was very nice and reassuring about using separate utensils etc so we ordered gf pasta with butter for my 4 year old with celiac. The dish came served with visible bread crumbs on it (fell from another dish for our table the food runner was carrying?) They offered to remake it but I was too nervous to let her eat there after that. We ended up getting her soft serve frozen yogurt from the mall for lunch instead. :/
When asked for a gluten-free menu, the staff said they didn't have a printed gf menu or allergen list and that I would have to access it at their website, but I couldn't get a good wireless signal in their restaurant to check their website. The only suggestion they had was a gluten-free bun and gluten-free pasta. Ended up taking a chance on the salad dressing and told them to hold the butter and seasoning on the steak. In the future I will have to remember to check their website beforehand.
Used both their website allergen menu and the GF list in the restaurant. Manager came to table and was really helpful, since there wasn't a GF appetizer my celiac daughter could have she gave her the salad bar for free so my daughter could get a few safe snacks before her meal! Offered to make her a grilled chicken on a GF bun, but my daughter chose the GF pasta and said it was delicious. Manager came to check on us and make sure meal was prepared safely and well. Service was wonderful, friendly and helpful!
not very helpful didn't even have a GF menu had to look it up online!! The Easley one is 1848849089992929475xs better!! wouldn't go back here if it was the last place on earth to eat! The waitress was rude and got mine and my wife's food mixed up! I would give them negative stars if it was possible!
Had pasta primavera with shrimp (gluten free pasta). Out waitress, Jodie, was very helpful and made sure that everyone in the kitchen knew that I really needed to be gluten free and wasn't one of the people just being trendy. Awesome experience and good food!
I had a couple of questions about some of the items I thought were typically gf so the waitress brought the manager over to go over the menu with me. She was very patient and knowledgeable. The waitress and manager were kind and respectful, even apologizing because there weren't more choices for me. I highly recommend this location if you want to go out and feel somewhat normal again.
Gf bun, bread, pasta. GREAT FOOD. excellent waiters!
Very disappointed!! I ordered from the primavera pasta from the GF menu. When the server came back with the pasta I asked to make sure the pasta is gluten free, she wasn't sure so she went back to kitchen to ask. When she came back she said no that my pasta was a regular pasta because they ran out of the GF. How they will do something like that?? How you can trust the kitchen?? Not returning 🙁
