I eat here often. They are very careful. Have never had issues.
Haven't been to a Ruby Tuesday in a while, but they now have GF buns and GF pasta. I didn't try either of those this visit because I ordered a steak, but I'm willing to check it out in a future visit. I did ask the server about GF options, and he was aware that they had these options and offered to bring me their allergen menu. I didn't give it 5 stars because I didn't really try the GF options, so can't speak to cross contamination, taste, etc.
Great salad bar. meal was good. just felt like it needed more seasoning. but that won't keep me from going back! gluten friendly & takes coupons from retail me not app.
The bacon cheese turkey burger is the best on a gluten-free bun!!! I get a side of mashed potatoes which are delicious because the fries are not gluten-free. Let them know you have celiac and they are very accommodating. I’ve never gotten sick once and I ate there frequently to have this meal. The ribs are also delicious and I have no side effects from them. The website even offers Coupons
The staff was very polite and helpful. The waiter was training but still knew to direct me to the online menu for gluten free menu items as their in house copy was not up to date. The salad bar was freshly stocked and had a delicious variety. My avocado turkey burger w/gluten free bun was delicious. Our kids also loved the French fries to the point we had to order an extra side to share. Highly recommend!
Offers gluten free buns for burgers and sandwiches as well as available substitutions on a number of dishes. The bun was good though not as sturdy as a typical bun. Service staff not necessarily up to speed on GF as. I was told the bun was $2 when the menu showed $1
We have eaten here 6+ times at different locations and truly enjoyed it. Brought our own margarine & almond milk to the table. We have never been sick after. Staff bends over backwards to accommodate needs, including cleaning separate grill for all meats.
I was provided a gluten-free menu with gluten free alternatives for bread and pasta. So someone in the self has not been educated on food allergies. After ordering and receiving my dish I asked to verify that it was a gf bun on my burger, and the waitstaff replied “honestly I don’t know what a gluten free bun is supposed to look like.” I commented, I’m fairly certain that what I had couldn’t possibly be a gluten-free bun but with her assurance I consumed by meal drove an hour home and spent the night in agony and vomiting.
I had an excellent experience and felt very safe eating here. They have a whole binder with separate sections for every allergy. My order was flagged in the computer as an “allergy” and then brought out separately from the others in my party by the manager. This is something that happens rarely, even in GIG trained restaurants I’ve eaten at.
I have severe Gluten Sensitivity. While my meal was fantastic; smokey mountain chicken, baked potato, salad bar w tomato, cucumber, cheddar cheese, boiled egg, 1000 island dressing, and the service was impeccable even the manager stopped by TWICE at my table... After 30 minutes of eating I got sick at Target while shopping for groceries. I give them an A for effort but somehow there must have been cross-contamination going on. Have to give dining out up I'm afraid :(
Our go to place. They have separate clean utensils packed in individual plastic bins to use for Celiac/gluten free. The manager Joe is an expert on how your food should be prepared. We always feel safe eating there. Food is always fresh and excellent!! Really appreciate the care they take in preparing our food.
I’ve eaten here 3 times. Each time I was never contaminated and the waitstaff provided me with a special menu and took special precautions. The ribs are outstanding! I’ll probably never cook my own (labor intensive) ribs, because what I can get here are so convenient. A+ highly recommended.
I really was pleased with my experience there. The manager actually brought me my dinner explaining the care they put into making sure my dish was safe. They have instituted best practices and they actually have completely separate utensils and use tin foil on the grill to prevent contamination. The manager was very friendly and I was sure to thank him for the attention. He also states that a gluten free order is clearly marked for the back and always brought separately to avoid mix ups. (I also have to point out that this was just from me telling the waitress that I had to eat gluten free and would be ordering from the gf options. ) The only downside I can say is the gluten free options are only on the internet. They note gluten free buns and pasta on the physical menu but that’s it. I will return!
We have visited many times for burgers with a gluten free bun accompanied by mashed potatoes. They have even allowed us to get either adult portion or the kids minis (and cut the gf bun in half to make it work) Staff are attentive to my daughter's celiac and always happy to accommodate our requests.
The water person was very helpful. The gluten free menu is online. However, she let me know that her manager and the chef would be informed of our sensitivity and allergies (we have both) and that the ingredients would be checked again. She even came back out to inform me of all ingredients. We ate New York strip, broccoli, and baked potato. Also, baby back ribs. We are very satisfied with the quality of service and the meals. No reactions!! I will be back!!
Very knowledgeable staff! Fryer is not celiac friendly as everything is fried in all of their fryers. Daughter said the GF bun is pretty good. She really loved the salad bar. This was our first time coming since she’s been GF. We will be back so she can try some other items.
Ask the hostess for GF menu and it is extensive. Most of salad bar and dressings are GF. Had a very good chicken with honey bourbon sauce and grilled Brussels sprouts. Excellent and friendly service.
Ordered a gluten free prime burger. Got REALLY sick 🤢
I honestly have to brag about how amazing this Ruby Tuesday’s is. I have never gotten sick and they choose to take gluten-free very seriously. I’ve had the manager come out and talk to me several times to make sure my meal was safe i eat at least once a week here !
Absolutely no options other than salad with no dressing (other than oil). They can do a burger but said they do not clean the grill so can not guarantee no cross contamination issues.
While the staff was extremely kind and tried to be knowledgeable I ended up with cross contamination and ill. Be vigilant.
