Disclosure, I go here all the time and have gotten to know the owners so when I saw the negative review on the app I was shocked! I have been eating here for YEARS and have NEVER gotten glutened. No they do not have a dedicated menu, but they have gluten free pasta, flour, bread crumbs, and on some days rolls and even gf ravoli. Many Celiacs from the hospital order gf meals from them on a weekly basis. They don't have a dedicated fryer but they fry all gf foods in a separate pan.

The chef is amazing and will custom make dishes. There are times when I ask if something is gluten free and he isn't sure so he literally goes through the every ingredient on every item that is used in the dish. In fact he once warned me while there was no gluten, there was soy letchin which he read on a site bothers some celias. He told me this because he wanted me to be fully informed.

I normally don't do reviews but after eating here for so long and knowing how sensitive the chef is about gluten intolerance I was really upset to see this. I even asked the owner what happened. Apparently the woman who gave them a negative review kept insisting Hellman's Mayonnaise was gf. I was told they explained to the woman that Hellman's website claims all gf items are labeled and since the jar was not labeled they couldn't guarantee it was. I personally appreciate that they err on the side of caution.

I would also like to point out the woman who apparently chose not to get Chicken/Veal Parm, Chicken Fancese, GF Soup, or any of the other many options (which were explained to her) that celiacs normally cannot eat did not get sick. She is not claiming that she was glutened. Her complaint is that they didn't have a physical menu for her to ignore. I would much rather to have my food custom prepared and not get sick than order off a menu and get ill which happens so many times with chain restaurants,

Usually this app is great for finding gluten free places to eat......NOT THIS TIME!!! Went to Rudy's last night for my birthday celebration and I can not put into words how disappointed I was!!!! They are NOT gluten free anything!!! Called the day before and they told me no problem they had a gluten free menu. When I got there they did not even know if their salad dressings were gluten free..... I am truly a Celiac and count on Find Me Gluten Free app...SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!Had to give this one star but really did not want to!!!

I am a severe Celiac and this is one of the few places I can eat. Many gf doctors eat here bc the owner is so cautious to avoid cross contamination. All gf dishes are made from scratch, they modify dishes and they will substitute gf flour (and sometimes gf bread crumbs) when possible.
