Review of Rudy's

We eat here all the time. Most of their stuff is safe and they have an allergy list at the counter. Oddly, the pulled pork isn’t gluten free, which surprised us. Anything that touches their meat cutting area is gluten free so no cross contamination there. Half their sides come pre packed in a cooler, and the other half are scooped from large kettles. I could see opportunity for cross contamination there, as there are often multiple servers scooping out of multiple kettles at once, and I could see how some of the creamed corn (not gf) could fall into the potatoes or beans (both gf), so if you are super sensitive maybe skip those? Also make sure to tell the person helping you “no bread” right off the bat as they grab a big handful with paper and pile it on top of the rest of your food.
