Rumi’s is an upscale Persian restaurant. They have numerous GF options which were labeled on the menu. The offer GF crackers for $5.
We had a few appetizers 1) mirza ghasemi, an eggplant spread with tomato sauce (delicious), 2) Labne with charred tomatoes (delicious) and 3) the lamb rack (way too fatty for my liking).
For the main course we had 1) duck fesenjoon, a delicious duck stew 2) beef kabob (good but not great) 3) chicken kabob (my wife thought it was great).
For dessert we had 1) chocolate budino (better of the two) and 2) Makhlouf, an unusual ice cream. I believe the flavors were lemon/lime and vanilla with some nuts in it.
Overall, we really liked the restaurant and the ambiance.
