Delicious! We ordered 2 GF cauliflower crust pizzas via uber eats. Loved both of them. Would definitely order again from here.❤
We notified th waiter we were allergic to gluten. He immediately told us that was not a problem. Apps, salads, and pizzas were labeled as GF. We ordered a salad and the waiter delivered it and assured us that all ingredients were GF and there was no contact or cross contamination with gluten. Then our waiter brought us the most delicious New York style pizza. All ingredients were fresh.
The waiter offered us a gf dessert as well. Flourless brownie a la mode. It was outstanding. The food was beautifully plated and super delicious. I’ll go here every time we visit South Padre Island.
Just a heads up to all the GF people, Russo's New York Pizzeria - South Padre Island no longer has regular GF pizza. We went there tonight, ordered the GF Flatbread to begin with. This is just the GF crust with their Italian spices on it, served with dipping oil. Our fabulous server brings it out to us and even said, I'm not sure why they cut it this way. I knew without even trying it that it was the nasty cauliflower crust. It was so nasty smelling that it made my stomach hurt. We were then told they no longer have regular GF crusts. Management made us pay for 3 bottled waters and a beer, even though they were out of what we ordered. Not a good business plan. It would have been so easy for them to apologize and comp us our drinks because they were out. The manager lady was not a nice person. It's hard enough being GF.
Gluten free pasta was nasty and it wasn’t even listed on the menu I knew they offered because of other reviews
Had an amazing experience here with my husband and two boys with Celiac disease. Was able to order a GF pizza for one of my sons and the other had pasta. What hit the spot was the GF focaccia bread. It was SO good. Neither of my boys got sick here and tons of GF pizza and pasta options.
My experience was amazing. I am celiac and our waiter, Fernando, was so kind when I asked for gluten free and continuously checked on us throughout the night! I ordered the gluten free fettuccine alfredo and a side of the gluten free dipping bread. It was INCREDIBLE. The bread was warm and chewy and the pasta was so incredible I ate every bite. The service was wonderful and I will definitely be returning!
This place is not safe for anyone with celiac disease they throw flour all over the place and it's highly cross contaminated no change of gloves or even wearing gloves they also don't have a separate cutter I ordered and saw them prepare the food and canceled my order right away sad but still no gluten free pizza here
Service wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t great. When I asked about gluten free she exclaimed that they offered gluten free noodles and pizza crust. I informed her that it was an allergy and that I needed her to be 100% sure. She came back and told me she read the ingredients of everything and that it “should” be ok although she wasn’t really sure what gluten was. I ordered the chicken pesto pasta and the tomato soup. The soup was amazing. My noodles were not fully cooked. We also had issues ordering drinks during happy hour and my friend was brought lemons for her dos when she specifically asked for limes and for her beer to be dressed which it wasn’t. I won’t be returning, although I heard really good things about it. I’m pretty sure I did get cross contamination.
They have gf crusts, a variety of toppings, and are very accommodating and knowledgeable. The price is somewhat high for the portion size, but otherwise it’s good.
Gluten free options clearly marked on the menu including several kinds of pasta, salad dressings and pizza crust. The server brought our kids GF pasta with regular bread (oops!) so be sure to express your gluten intolerance or Celiac disease very clearly to your server. She said they have dedicated cooking space in the pizza oven. Good vegetarian options as well.
I ordered a mozzarella cheese pizza from the gluten free option they had on the HungerStation app. Unfortunately, what I received was a gluten-based pizza. I’m grateful that I ate a small bite that still initiated some symptoms of my celiac disease. This is really upsetting. Anyone ordering needs to be careful and confirm many times with the restaurant
