This is bar far our go to restaurant as a family! The owners are wonderful, the food is delicious and they absolutely understand celiac disease and all the precautions necessary to keep everyone safe. If you haven’t eaten there you are missing out!

A family favorite for us. Prices are not terrible, easily some of the best GF pizza on LI. I always end up ordering an extra pie to take home so I can freeze (it freezes quite well-I usually defrost for a few hours before I’m ready and toss in the oven)

Rustica has an extensive gluten free menu and they take extra precaution to prevent cross-contamination. They have gluten free calamari, calzones, pizza, and pasta on the menu. I’ve dined twice now and I’ll definitely be back to try something besides pizza.

Great selection of gf Italian specialties! Haven't had a calzone in 30+ years - did not disappoint. Grandma pizza was delicious, their handmade crust is very good. Wish I'd had room for dessert! Safe, everything labelled.

I’ve been eating at Rustica about once a month for almost 2 years. It’s a great GF menu that other pizzeria/Italian restaurants don’t have. GF calzones, chicken rolls, pasta, fried calamari, and of course Pizza among other things. It’s also a nice little place, but fills up quickly around dinner time. You can always do Pickup orders. Met the owner, very cool.

This place is a gem. I’m a very symptomatic celiac no reactions and always delicious I live far but have been in the area lately. Lasagna,pizza and a calzone over 4 visits. Would highly recommend all of them

They are very knowledgeable, with GF allergies.

I’ve been going for years and have never been sick from their food (Pizza, Calzones, Rolls, Baked Ziti). However, I always make it a point to mention to the server or person taking the order that I have an allergy.

Even when I order non-gf food for others, they kept everything separated and I felt very safe.

One of the beet gluten free Italian food places in New York and I say that confidently. Their grandma pie and regular chicken roll is to die for. Best gluten free pizza I ever had for sure! Never got sick here yet and they seem very knowledgeable to me about celiac disease! Of course always be careful as it isn’t a 100% gluten free establishment and there is still regular pizza being made there but they are very safe and I have never heard of anyone I know who’s had a problem/gotten sick from there.

Great! Had it multiple times and have never had any problems or issues. The pizza tastes really good for gluten free, and I’m saying this as a New Yorker who is pretentious about pizza. Only problem is you can’t just buy a gluten free slice, you’ll have to get a whole personal pie, which is often more than I want to pay for a lunch outing.

By far the best GF food around. It’s the only pizza I’ve had that tastes like actual pizza and they are so good about keeping everything separate and fresh. I almost cried when I was able to order a GF chicken roll….and it 100% lived up to the hype. Delicious!!

RUN don’t walk!!!! Get the GF focaccia!!! (just order in advance, takes about 30 min). They make fresh GF dough daily. Everything is prepared separately (different oven, knife, cutting board, etc).

The sauce is too sweet and the crust tasted like they dumped a container of salt which is not how it used to be.

Edit: We were cross contaminated with the pizza! We’ve been sick all night and morning from it. We never had this issue here, but I know they put it in the same oven and on same surface as gluten pizza.

Delicious grandma pizza. Best GF pizza I’ve had. The waitress reassured me right away that they are careful about keeping everything separate and safe. So good!! Will be back soon
