I asked about a poke bowl and they said it was gluten free. They also gave me some gluten free soy sauce to go with it. It was super good and I am feeling fine! Was thrilled to have something fresh after a long day of vending machine food in other airports. I did not ask about cross contamination but I’m usually fairly sensitive and did fine.
They do no have a gluten free menu or gluten free soy sauce. There are only three items on their menu that can be gluten free, and they are only vegetarian options
The woman at the counter was friendly and tried to be helpful. The woman who made my roll looked resentful at having to change her gloves and put a plastic container of soy sauce in with my roll. (She also rolled it with the same bamboo mat she rolls everything with) Luckily, I was able to extract the soy sauce container and throw it away before it leaked on my food. It’s nice to have anything to eat in this terminal, but I think they might need to brief the staff on handling allergens...
Freshly prepare sushi - it was just what I was looking for. They paper menu is clearly marked which items can be prepared gluten free. If you do get sushi just a warning the they do not have GF soy sauce. I had the Vancouver Roll and the Creole Tuna Roll. Both tasted great and I did not get sick.
