Typical Cape Verde menu but hard to tell what may have been added to many dishes eg sauces etc. Also offered sushi which I always avoid unless I see a full ingredient list
I chose grilled tuna because firstly I like tuna and secodly it is usually the safest item on the menu. I showed the staff my piece of paper listing all the gluten and dairy items I cannot eat and they appeared to have a good understanding of the ingredients in the menu items
My grilled tuna came with a large portion of vegetables which made a change from chips and the veggies were excellently cooked
