Saigon Vietnamese

Based on the review by BeautyBeen, my son and I went to Saigon today for lunch. When we asked the waitress if she could tell us what items were gluten free, she looked perplexed and asked, "is he vegetarian?" I tried to explain that my son, who has celiac disease, could not have wheat, soy sauce... She got the manager. The manager gave me the same blank look, seeming to have never heard the word "gluten" before. So my son and I ate elsewhere. I will email them to try to find out if they have anything gluten free or not. I will amend this review if/when I have more info.

No

Pretty good Pho and spring rolls. The server we had and the kitchen staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about gluten-free items, including condiments on table. They even made a special GF sauce for me to dip my spring rolls in. I'll definitely be coming back to try new things.
