I thought it was safe here. They have GF soy sauce and seemed to know what they were doing.... until tonight. They argued with me that I couldn’t have cream cheese because it wasn’t gluten free. I assured them it was. They didn’t understand. I guess they don’t know the difference between gluten and dairy? We left without eating.... if they don’t get it, I’ll go somewhere that does!
Waitress had no idea what GF was , went to the kitchen to ask and they had no idea , came over to the table (made a huge scene) asking me what it was I couldn't have ... Trying to explain no gluten to them, they assured me there was no bread in the fish ... They offered me a salad with peanut sauce , tempura shrimp and teriyaki steak ..... Really ?!?!?! They also do not speak English , not one employee was 1st generation English which made communicating even harder. I'm not sure why some reviews say they are knowledgable (unless they work/own the restaurant) . If you have celiac I would not eat here . Would give 0 stars
Good sushi
Hands down the best Sushi anywhere. They are very aware of the wheat allergy and can make a sushi roll gluten free my omitting gluten ingredients. Added plus is that they are the friendliest staff I have ever met. They treat you like family. I love this place.
Really good sushi! They have gluten free soy sauce too
While don't have a dedicated GF, they are very accommodating to the GF community and are good about x-contam by using clean gloves, cutting boards, utensils, and have GF soy sauce.
