First time we visited Sakaya we had a longer talk with the manager as I wanted to test vegetarian Sushi once. As I have celiac disease, she offered to prepare it with standard rice as in the „sushi rice“ also vinegar would be used, which could contain gluten. I asked once for a dessert, they checked and we’re sorry they couldn’t offer a gluten-free option. This even increased my confidence. Sakaya is a very stylish location with great tasting and looking sushi and very friendly and thoughtful staff.
