Sake Japanese Bistro and Bar

Went here after reading good reviews on Find Me Gluten Free. The server and kitchen were not very knowledgeable… they did what every Celiac person hates most which is to act overly confident that they can accommodate (“oh yeah no problem don’t worry about it!”) I never trust servers who act that way so when she and the kitchen assured me twice that the crabstick in their rolls was safe for me to eat, which is almost never true (almost all crabstick has wheat paste in it), I insisted that the server go and read the ingredients label. She came back about ten minutes later and confirmed, unapologetically, that it DID in fact have wheat in it. You would think there would be an apology in there after reassuring a customer multiple times that something was free of a certain allergen when it was not 🤷‍♂. So in the end my options were very limited and the sushi itself was not great.

Great little local place! Our server, Jet, was very helpful in assisting me with my menu selections. He went out of his way to accommodate my Celiac needs! The food was high quality and fresh. They had gluten free soy sauce. Jet also brought us different types of sake to taste! We really enjoyed it and will add it to our list of favorites!!
