NOT SAFE for people who have allergies! I used to trust this restaurant but had the worst experience tonight. I told the waitress multiple times that I had a gluten allergy, then told the chef when he came to our table. Instead of cooking my meal first to prevent cross contamination (as they used to do) he cooked the food in both the regular wheat based soy sauce and gluten free soy sauce at the same time- using the same spatula and shared cooktop. He made no attempt to keep my gf food separate from the rest. I did not eat my meal due to the cross contamination. The manager comped my meal which I appreciate but I don’t think I’d be comfortable going back. To make it worse, another couple sitting with us joked that they were allergic to the shrimp when the chef put it on their plate- and laughed. One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant.

A MUST for celiacs. You can even partake in the Hibachi! The staff and chef are constantly asking about your allergy, making sure you are okay, cooking your food first. I would be very upset if this place ever closed now that I know it exists!

Extremely knowledgeable Cooked food before everyone else’s.

Great for tapenaki and sushi. They will cook gf on the table infront of you first before the soy sauce hits the grill for everyone else. Gf soy sauce available, great menu and knowledge.

Great experience. All sushi chefs are very knowledgeable about what has wheat/gluten and they even have a California roll with real crab! They have gf soy sauce and went above and beyond to ensure I ate gf. I'm celiac and very sensitive and had no bad effects.
The chefs are knowledgeable and accommodating with all forms of allergies. They always double check and ask what you ordered, cook the food first and serve you for hibachi. The sushi is always fresh and delicious too! Gf soy sauce and yum yum sauce available.

They have gf soy sauce. We have been to the Tysons location and they always cook all gf items first before any other gluten items. However, at this location the chef seemed annoyed. He did only use gf soy sauce for all members at the table (even the non gf members dining), but put noodles on the same griddle and didn't use fresh utensils. I requested he at least wipe off his spatula before moving back to the gf items, which he was irritated by, saying he has to cook for everyone. This was a non issues the Tysons location.

The chef was very educated about what had gluten and dairy in it. He was very nice and cleaned the grill between making my food and the rest of the parties food. However, if you have celiac you cannot eat here. They make the food on the same table as the food with gluten. They have gluten free soy sauce though, which is always a plus! The food was very good overall!!
