We ordered two gluten free pizzas and one non-gluten free pizza. The young man who accepted payment had flour all over his hands which resulted in flour all over my credit card. The gf pizza was placed on the same counter as the non-gf pizza when it was being boxed. The girl who boxed the pizzas placed the gluten pie in between the two gf pies. When I explained that can cause cross contamination she laughed. There was flour on the outside of all three pizza boxes. Do not eat here if you cannot handle cross contamination. You will get sick.
Delicious pizza made in its own pie pan so it doesn't touch flour in the oven.
Horrible service. First of all it took fifteen minutes to acknowledge that we were there to order a pizza. Finally we order, which ok, we were trying to be understanding but 25 minutes later we ask about the pizza and the girl ignores us then finally goes and asks someone if they started it and we hear the person say 'no'. The original girl doesn't even come back to tell us. We get her attention and say cancel the order and she says 'whatever'. Never again.
Have you ever walked into a restaurant and felt truly welcome? That people are happy to cook for you and gracious from the beginning to end? That's Sal's in Seabrook. I was thrilled to find out they make gluten free pizza... And it's delicious! Nice crispy crust cooked on a separate foil tray. They are not celiac certified because there's regular flour in the air, but they are honest from the start about that. Great food, great service, very clean facilities. Sal's is a great pizza place.
