Salt of the Earth Bistro

This is a great restaurant. I came in as a single dinner and was treated very well. The menu was outstanding and there were plenty of gluten-free options. The flavors are bold and creative. The staff is warm and friendly. This is by far the best restaurant in Lake Placid area.

Excellent service from start to finish. The menu was clearly marked with gluten free items and many vegan items as well. I highly recommend the Spicy Ethiopian Shrimp and Carrot & Parsnip Dip with GF crackers. Great wine and dessert selection, as well. We felt truly taken care of by the staff here, and they were knowledgeable about the gluten free offerings on their menu.

Except dining experience. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about CD and was able to help with my selection. The menu was marked with options and there were good choices. My salon was outstanding and try the hummus! The restaurant itself was so creative! Can’t wait to come back!
