Very heartwarming experience. I am a sensitive celiac. We called the day before asking if Salt could accommodate me. Spoke to the manager. He assured us he would do his research about gf dining and talk to the chefs, so we made a reservation. We showed up the next day and everyone we interacted with knew we were the “gluten allergy” table. We were given a menu with handwritten notes showing what was naturally gf and what could be made gf on request. Non-gf items were completely scratched out. It was obvious Salt wanted us to have a good experience. I ordered the duck entree and buratta appetizer and had no issues. I was truly touched by the effort and care staff made to help me eat safely. I would dine there again but recommend calling in advance so that the manager can prepare staff.
