NOT a gluten free establishment! Other Salt locations may have precautions but this one does not. The server confirmed with the manager that they do not have gluten free options. The menu really needs to be updated as it is misleading and not safe. Shared fryers for everything including chips.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Poor

We love the food here but they do not have a dedicated fryer at the Norterra location as the other locations do. I spoke with the new kitchen manager last week regarding this, and he said they are working towards trying to get a dedicated fryer. Up until then they were telling people that they did serve gluten-free items… But that was very questionable. Even their chips are not gluten-free as everything is thrown into one fryer. Very disappointing to find this out. I will continue to follow up with this restaurant as we love the food, but can’t risk the gluten issue.

Server didn’t seem to know much about cross contamination procedures. She came back saying cooks could make stuff gluten free. Stuck to water and tequila this time
