While they do have a few gf options on the menu, I wonder if they are truly gf. I ordered the Island Coconut Seafood Stew. It was amazing, but it came with bread. The menu clearly states SERVED WITH BAGUETTES. When he brought my food, I asked if the bread is gf. The owner said NO, it's Cuban bread! Good thing I didn't eat the bread!!

We asked the waitress multiple times, who also spoke to the kitchen, to ensure the grilled wings would be safe for my husband. Everyone said yes, they are gluten free. Turns out, no they are not. He was terribly ill for days after eating them.

It would have been better if they'd admitted they didn't know. We could have just avoided the whole experience instead of days of illness. Not impressed.

So I went here after reading they had options on their menu for Gf items, particularly their chicken wings.

I called ahead and they assured me they could cook the wings safely. However, once I arrived, a member of their kitchen staff (thankfully) came out to say that although the wings are marked GF on the menu, they actually contain trace wheat in their seasoning that cannot be removed (they buy them preseasoned). So unfortunately, the wings are not safe to eat. (No matter the sauce chosen)

The staff was very accommodating and offered to make me a safe dish of chicken breast, potatoes, and veggies, which I was grateful that they took celiac requirements seriously.

The meal offered was good and I didn't get sick. However, I was bummed I wasn't able to eat the wings or other offerings marked GF of their menu. As a celiac, you kinda get used to not having much of a choice when eating out. Overall, I'm happy I was able to eat and not get sick, but I was disappointed in the lack of choices and the misinformation on their menu.

Wow! A nice gf menu! Many dinner options and the waitress double checked the gf sauces for jerked wings for us. The portions were big compared to the price! The flavor was great! Drinks were good and priced cheap too! One of the best dinners we've had on our vacation! Definitely would recommend!!
