I asked the hostess if they had a gluten free menu. She said to just let the server know and we can accommodate no problem.

I tell the server I want the Veal Marsala with gluten free pasta. Please make sure it’s GF and there’s no flour or breading on the veal. “Oh there isn’t she says”

She walks away and takes another long order and so I grab her again before she places my order.

“I just want to remind you gluten free pasta” I say. Okay she replies.

Food comes out 25 minutes later. She comes up to me as I’m eating the veal.

I say “This pasta doesn’t look GF” because I can tell at this point.

She goes “let me double check”

Comes back 5 min later.

“The pasta is not gluten free and the veal has flour on it”

I’m dumbfounded but her stupidity. She goes “Let me get you something else.”

“I don’t think so, I’m probably going to be sick from this” I get up and walk out.

I cannot believe after emphasizing it to her 3 times she still did it. Maybe it was the kitchens fault. Who knows. Either way, terrible experience. Writing this with a stomach ache now.

Great place. Great ambience. Pizza was tasty, crust was good. Got prosciutto, EVVO and arugula. Pizza is cooked in the same oven as regular pizza. Cross contamination is for sure.
