I am a very sensitive celiac and also a huge foodie, I wasn’t diagnosed until my 30s, and this is my favorite restaurant in Seattle. They are so careful and remember me every time and are so thoughtful and the food is out of this world. The owner, chef, sous chef, front of house, all the staff are wonderful. And Sunset Hill is the cutest neighborhood! I’ve never gotten sick.

This is one of the best restaurants in Seattle and they are very accommodating and careful about gluten cross-contamination. Many, sometimes most, of the dishes are gluten free, and they will gladly modify their dishes to make them gluten free upon request. For example, I wanted to try the salmon tartare so they served it with radish slices instead of crackers. Their homemade crackers and any other bread products are made in the basement, fully separate from the upstairs kitchen. The service at this restaurant is excellent, helpful, attentive, and completely unpretentious. My husband and I always choose this restaurant when we are having a special night out.

This place was great! The menu is pretty small and changes often, so I emailed earlier this week to ask what was safe and got a very detailed response. All of the vegetable dishes and all but one of the proteins were already gluten-free, and that last protein could be made GF. My spouse and I got 3 vegetable dishes and one protein and it was just a little bit too much food for too people. Would recommend reaching out in advance to confirm that the current menu will work for you!
