Had a lovely afternoon tea here! Love the attention to detail in the theme with the plates, tea pots, etc., and the tea itself was the best I’ve had in London to date! (We bought some to take home too) The sandwiches were really really good too, best we’ve had so far for gf tea. The desserts weren’t that tasty unfortunately, but they were pretty! Seating area is cute too, in a garden alcove.

I came here for Mad Hatter afternoon tea. We notified them in advance that we had a guest with a gluten allergy and a dairy allergy (both of whom are vegetarian) and boy did they come through! We were served spectacular tea trays of gluten free/ whatever restriction goodies. It was fun to dress up and have a fancy tea there. They served five different types of teas, and all of them were delicious. The tea trays (photos attached) had savory sandwiches on the bottom, which we weren’t too hype on, but were good— we just weren’t used to the egg/mayo/cucumber combinations. They were fun though! The middle row was sweets, which was impossible to finish, and so was the top, plus the cotton candy on top! You could have unlimited savory sandwiches, but it was too much food to really do so. They also had warm GF scones with clotted cream and jam and those were so freaking good. We left as bloated as balloons but it was nice to have an afternoon tea that was safe. We also stayed and chatted for like two and a half hours and they didn’t kick us out, lol. Beautiful venue and courtyard. The other popular GF tea is at One Aldwych, but the price on this was better, so we tried here and were happy. Check out the pics!
