Wow. I'm very impressed. The cook was very knowledgeable about GF. He went above and beyond for our son that has Celiac.

I just got into town for my vacation birthday bush with my sister. I have celiac disease and choice Sandia Chile Grill for this fact. We looked at menu before going and it showed Ribs and lots Smoked BBQ meats! We get there, not much of what was on the menu was there, plus talking to the owner and help placed my order but Not, so we waited 10 minutes and asked where is the order that was placed. Well, they were not even making it and was to very apologetic for this error. So, I am not giving this place a recommendation! The experience sucked!

Celiac dream come true!!!... My husband and I used to eat here prior to learning I have Celiac and we LOVED it. We just returned based off reviews here and were more impressed than ever! We met the owner, Mick who was incredibly friendly and Celiac knowledgable. He cleaned the grill and utensils prior to cooking our meal. Time and care was taken and our lunch tasted out of this world! Pecan smoked pork and chicken enchiladas and fresh vegetable calabacitas served with steamed blue corn tortillas, twice baked potatoes and beans will have us going back. Fresh, healthy, safe, friendly and local!

Mick the owner and cook is very personable and knowledgable about GF. Food was out of this world delish! fresh vegetables and amazing smoked chicken enchilada were all great.

Great place! A hole in the wall pub where everything on the menu is gluten free but the beer!! Spectacular sauces, and everything is made fresh when you order it!

Great personal service Feels like you are getting food from home. They will work with you on any food restriction you have The pulled pork, coleslaw and beans were excellent.

Wonderful friendly and gluten free. We ate street tacos pulled pork the dish was delicious. It was so nice to eat GF tacos dinner without having to worry about cross contamination. As we were leaving the owner came over and was talking with us about my Celiacs/diabetes he wants to serve those of us with Gluten allergies ....nice to have s accommodating restaurant.... Great Place! 😊

This place was awesome! They were closed when I arrived, but when they found out I was GF, they insisted on taking care of me. The slaw was excellent, sweet. I had pork street tacos, slaw and beans. The owner was very knowledgable about gluten, cleaned the grill for me, and made sure I was well taken care of. Two awesome families run the place. I'm just a visitor to Albuquerque, or I would make this place one of my regulars.

They are very celiac friendly. They will clean off the grill and switch out their spatulas. Give them some notice and they will switch out their fryer oil and fry up hard taco shells. I only knocked off a star because they don't have an extensive menu. But it's enough to fulfill your Mexican craving.
