Review of Santa Rita Tex-Mex

Pre-celiac, I really liked this place. Last week, I changed my tune.

I asked if an appetizer was gluten free. The server didn't know so went to ask the kitchen then reported back that it was. Not 5 minutes later, and several bites into the food, the server returned with a different answer. Great. I shouldn't have risked it.

If only it ended there.

The manager spent much of the next half hour trying to convince me that it was gluten free. He even brought (raw?) chicken to the table to show me it wasn't breaded or coated.

5 days of symptoms leads me to believe that there was gluten somewhere.
