Review of Santa Rita Tex-Mex

I want to give more stars, because I didn't have a reaction, but I very easily could have if I hadn't been paying VERY close attention.

The server made a small remark in the beginning about it being her second day, and I questioned why as a former server they would give her such a large table with nobody training her. She took my order and I said, "I have allergies to gluten, soy and tree nuts." She didn't write them down, just said "oh we have a separate menu for gluten free people." I ordered and when everyone else's food came out, another person had a mistake and mine came with rice. I pointed out that on the menu, it said the rice wasn't safe due to the way it was prepared. The busgirl thankfully caught it and the server said again "second day, sorry." I sent it back and asked her if there was soy in and of the ingredients either, and she said she hadn't checked!!! They re-made it, but no manager came out or anything. It was delicious and I haven't had any reaction, but if they don't educate their staff on how to handle allergies then this place is sadly one bad reaction away from a horrific lawsuit.
