Review of Satchel's Pizza

After being recommended by a friend, I called to see if Satchel's had a gluten free pizza option. They said yes, there was a millet and flax seed crust. After looking at the menu, the pizza was labeled as "contains trace amounts of gluten" and the server said this was because of possible cross contamination in their kitchen or the bakery where they get the crust. After deciding to try it, I had one slice and was violently sick for several hours. Come to find out, glutenfreewatchdog.org says the Sami's Bakery crust they use contains 25-50% gluten, according to testing done on the product. In no way should this be considered "trace amounts", so if you have Celiac or are gluten sensitive definitely DO NOT eat the pizza. Very disappointed in the lack of information about what the crust actually contains and will not be going back.
