Review of Saudade

There is gluten free bread for the sandwiches, but the house sauce that is on all but one of them is spread with a knife, which poses a cross contamination risk. Even if they use a new knife, there would still be crumbs in the sauce from other knives dipping in and transferring crumbs into the sauce. The waitress was very nice and explained all these things and said there was one sandwich without the sauce that could be safe, but I just ordered a macchiato since I wasn’t very interested in that one sandwich.
