Savory Café

We originally went here for breakfast but ended up missing the cutoff, so we ended up eating lunch here. Needless to say, they have a good amount of options here - salads, sandwiches, burgers, and loads of fun coffee options. We enjoyed sandwiches on toasted gluten free bread. Their fries are not GF due to cross contamination, but they offer chips! Very yummy.

Overall great food and very delicious. Great for allergies. However, the day we visited they were severely understaffed. One sever for a dinning room with 20 tables. It took 50 mins to get breakfast and we had 3 little kids. You need to do better. The food alone won’t get you repeat customers with service and timeliness to get your order. Lots of other nuances like 5 meals coming out and 2 meals 10 mins later etc. All of this can be solved with proper staffing and systems in place. Please do better as you have great food for allergies.

Absolutely delicious food! And what a sweet cafe! We came here with three family members with food allergies and they were so accommodating. The waitress was very careful and considerate and they were able to prepare my daughter with Celiac gluten free chocolate chip pancakes and bacon and my sister in law with Celiac got the gluten free build your own pancake board. Everything was prepared safely. I will 100% come back here when we come back to Hershey.

This place is a must visit if you are in Hershey! It’s minutes from the park and absolutely delicious! The restaurant is adorable. The menu is marked and the staff is very knowledgeable. They gave gf bread and pancakes, they have a separate prep area and toaster. Staff was so nice! I will be back!

Ordered Tomato Bisque and a Creme Brulee coffee. Delicious! Very knowledgeable and kind staff. GF buns available for variety of sandwiches. Dedicated fryer is in the works for the future. Will definitely be back!

Server was confident and very clear in explaining what was gluten free, what some items could be swapped out with and the safety of eating there. She could even confirm that the latte had syrup and whip cream marked gluten free. I had no reactions. A very cute cafe and delicious food - will be back when in town!

Almost everything can be made GF on the menu. Waitress was very knowledgeable and even asked more questions to the chef to double check herself. I got the Greek salad (no croutons of course) and added grilled chicken. I was told that normally they grill chicken on the same cooktop where bread/other gluten items are grilled. The chef was able to clean off a spot to grill my chicken which was so very nice! The salad was delicious and ginormous! All of their dressings are GF and their fries are normally in a dedicated fryer but when I went they had a catering order earlier in the day and they were frying other items in the fryer. Staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating, and the food was so tasty! Did not get sick and will definitely be coming back

Items are not marked GF but when I asked, I was informed that they do take precautions and that all sandwiches could be made instead on gluten free bread. Said their fryer was dedicated so that the fries were safe. Great ambience
