Sadly this place is not safe for celiac. they do have gluten free pizza and crust. But the cross contamination is too much. I ordered the gf cheese and vege pizza. Although I asked them if they have separate station for gf pizza. they said yes But after eating it I didnt had the worse symptoms vomitings etc but my mouth was inflamed :( I was bloated and not feeling good. I regret it.
Schlotzsky's has an abbreviated menu/allergen list in the store, and additional info online. They have Udi's bun and GF pizza crust available. The lady at the counter was unable to indicate if they take additional precautions, but they franchise suggests they do. They do not consider themselves a gluten-free environment and caution cross-contact can happen.
I was initially skeptical about dining at a chain restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised—it was great! They prepared our food in a completely separate area and took all the necessary precautions. The manager was excellent at answering our questions, and best of all, I didn’t get sick. Overall, a great experience!
