Our server claimed that they take food allergies seriously & that my order would be followed individually to make sure all precautions were taken. I had ordered a chargrilled steak, asparagus & mashed potatoes. I was assured that these items were gluten free, as indicated on the menu.
Our inattentive server disappeared for quite a while and I suspect he was quite busy trying to garner a big tip from the large, loud drinking table near us. I'm pretty sure that any concerns I expressed about gluten were forgotten once he left our table.
When the food arrived it seemed fine. The steak and veggies looked ok. Potatoes looked a little sad. Halfway through the potatoes I kept noticing a different taste. It was an off, raw taste. I finally realized it was flour. The kitchen (as many do) had added flour to the mash to perk up their potatoes. Blank looks when questioned about it.
I really, really resent paying money to a restaurant for them to lie to me and to basically poison me. They are NOT taking food allergies seriously. I have been ill for 2 days. Obviously no proper training of employees going on at this restaurant. Landrys took over the original RUI run Scotts. Not an improvement. NEVER going back. BEWARE.

— Gluten-free items are marked on the main menu
Terrible and way overpriced! Not sure why this place is even listed as a gf place on this app. They have no gf options listed, their servers don't seem to care at all about gluten sensitivity, act like it's a huge bother, and are not helpful at all. I also got sick from a very dry, overcooked, completely bare steak. They charged full price even though I wasn't able to have any of the sides that came with the steak.

— No gluten-free information on the menu
I had a very unfortunate experience here. When I ordered a gluten-free veggie burger (as advertised on the menu), something was sadly lost in translation, and I ended up getting very ill afterward. I must say that this was a rather frustrating experience, as the waitstaff even asked if the gluten-free request was a preference or allergy. I’m unlikely to patron this place again.
No
Menu says they do not prepare gluten free items separately, no dedicated gluten free space in kitchen.
Helpful staff, knew what a shared fryer was, checked tge ingredients with the kitchen before confirming our family's order. GF icon noted on their menu items.
