So delicious! Excellent service and knowledgeable staff :)
This is a bustling local breakfast spot — either make reservation or come early. Menu is clearly marked for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian.
Our server, Saylor, was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, addressing my myriad questions and reassuring me about the kitchen's dedicated gluten-free section. Inlcuding the french toast “batter” is labled.
While observing some dishes being served in cast iron skillets—-if you are senstive to cross contimantion, might want to skip it dependig on how they clean and how often they are seasoned.
I opted for the hearty 'Big Breakfast,' I savored freshly made hash browns, meaty country sausage links, and French toast.
The imitation syrup arrived piping hot, (bring your own pure maple syrup) a delightful contrast to the cold ketchup and hot sauce.
Overall, the food was skillfully prepared and satisfying.
Although there was a hiccup with my order of banana rum-almond compote for the French toast, Saylor our server, promptly corrected the oversight, albeit with a cold serving. I'm not sure if it's typically served warm, but it's worth inquiring about.
A minor note for future visits: request the French toast to be served hot might enhance the dining experience, as mine arrived lukewarm. Despite tasting reminiscent of gluten-free bread, it was still enjoyable.
Overall, the experience was positive, and the accommodating atmosphere makes it a worthwhile choice.
The food here is amazing, but I keep getting glutened each time I eat here. They share surfaces with gluten products and do not use a dedicated toaster. I guess I'm not communicating my needs very well to the waitress. So many other people have had great experiences despite this and Idk. 4 stars for great food. Though.
Very accommodating but exercise caution and ask questions. Everything cooked on the same griddle and they use the same toaster for GF and regular bread. For the extremely sensitive this could be an issue.
Very friendly staff and they made special arrangements for us once we asked the right questions.
The gluten free bread was great and can make any sandwich. The GF French toast was great.
I have celiac and can't wait to return next time we visit. I had one of the delicious skillets and it was cooked in my own designated skillet. But the best part was the toast! They get gluten free white bread from Nazareth bread company and it was so good I had to ask my family to try it to make sure they didn't accidentally bring me regular bread!! The menu clearly notes what is safe to eat.
