Good selection, friendly staff. Nice to be able to get typical bar food gluten free.
Yes
I went to this restaurant with my family about two months ago. I had high hopes, but they were out of gluten free buns, had no other options for me. I ordered the burger with no bun on a bed of lettuce. I also have a dairy allergy. The first time they brought it out it was on a bun with cheese. The second time it still had cheese. I understand a confusion but two times was a little much. I would go back again and try because the rest of my family had a great experience but the gluten free allergy awareness was lacking. Maybe some more training not just for the kitchen staff but also the waitstaff as the waitress had no idea what was gluten free on the menu.
No
I went here with a group of friend with widely varying dietary needs -- including a vegan and a person on the paleo diet -- and they were able to feed all of us reasonably well. I had the veggie burger on a gluten-free bun, which was okay. My friends seemed very happy with their food. They have GF buns for their burgers and GF dough for the flatbreads, which is nice. None of the deep-fried foods are on the GF menu, presumably because they don't have a dedicated fryer.Sit on the patio if it's a nice day -- it's got a lovely view of Boston across the water.
