Review of Second Street Restaurant

I was surprised to see that good reviews on this restaurant. For the record, I have never left a review on this app that was anything but glowing, but not this time. The one good thing was the service was great. The server was knowledgeable about celiac and I did not get sick. The food, on the other hand, was not very good. I ordered an appetizer that sounded delicious. It was shrimp, tomatoes, cucumbers, and lime. Sounds good and refreshing, right? Nope. I think the tomatoes were out of a can. It was not good at all. Furthermore, I ordered a burger and the multi grain bun that they use was just Udi's bread, not even their hamburger bun. Also, the bread wasn't toasted, so the whole thing fell apart. I mean, really? They can't invest in a $20 toaster? My advice is to skip this place.
