Had a wonderful experience last night! I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of gluten free options in all categories (including appetizers!!!!!) our server was great about confirming the need for my items to be gluten free due to allergy and when food was brought out it was confirmed again that the dish was gluten free. Fiancé n I shared crab dip with gluten free flat bread and I had the French quarter pasta for my entree. Both were super delicious. No reaction what so ever!!!! Will definitely be back!
I called to ask about a dedicated fryer. The server asked her manager and reported that they do not. Apparently they have gluten free items marked on their menus. They were very helpful, but I was craving fries so I moved on to the next option.
Went in on a busy night. Warned the server multiple times of celiacs. 3 hours later and the painful tell tale signs of glutening. Not gluten friendly or at least cannot trust staff to be cautious when business increases.
Many GF options, dedicated fryer for their shoestring fries! So yummy, and waiter was educated in Celiac.
Awesome gf options and the staff actually understands what gf means! So happy to have found this place!
One the few restaurants that is totally safe for me to eat.
Love their GF flatbreads! Lots of GF options!
Very nice place for a family dinner or a date night. My kids and I have celiac and eaten here multiple times with great results each time. I've always enjoyed my meal and more importantly, so have my kids! Lots of options and friendly staff.
Great pizzas and food. Always has a great cider selection as well.
Have eaten here more than 10 times and have never had a reaction! I almost always get the tilapia with mashed potatoes and broccoli or spinach. They have a good chocolate torte GFree dessert too. Service has been better since they expanded the restaurant
Yum! Easy to order GF from the regular menu as everything is marked either GF or GFO (option). Flatbread pizza is awesome, tacos are delish, lots of entrees as well. So many beverage options- too many to mention but always ciders on tap, martinis are very good. Also always at least one GF dessert from what I have seen. I have been coming here since it opened and this place is getting very popular!! Specials every night and great live music when they have it. Outdoor seating option.
Great fish tacos. Service was just ok, food was really good.
Fantastic menu! Feels like I can eat anything!
Great options like gf pizza and Mac and cheese
Many gf options for food and beverage. Staff is warm and open to questions. Food is consistently good. Definitely a favorite for gf dining in Midlothian!
Large selection of GF beers and ciders. Basically everything on the menu is or can be made gluten free. Server was knowledgeable on Celiac Disease. Had a Steak, Potatoes, Crab cake, and a delicious tostada as the appetizer. Highly recommended!!!
I eat at Sedona in Norwalk on a regular basis and have never gotten sick!! I am celiac and extremely sensitive (but usually tell wait staff that I have a severe gluten allergy because they understand that more). The flatbreads are amazing and I love their salads. The gluten free bread is to die for when it is fresh. They don’t automatically bring it any more so make sure you ask for some!
I’m a celiac and was bowled over by the many choices here! Everything was clearly marked on the menu and server was exceptionally knowledgeable. Food was super delicious from appetizer to dessert! Best celiac friendly restaurant I’ve come across in a long time. 😊
Several gluten free choices (clearly marked on menu). I’ve eaten here many times and never had a problem. Staff is knowledgeable about GF diet. Spoke to manager first time I was there and he told me he has several family members who are gluten free so he takes extra care with gluten free offerings to avoid contamination. My favorites here are the fish tacos and grilled flatbreads.
Would rate zero stars if I could. AVOID THIS PLACE! Asked for gf flatbread per the menu. Food arrived, it looked flufffy (possibly containing gluten), asked the server to confirm it was gf, was assured it was...after eating two pieces & thinking it was the best gf food...was greeted by another server with mine advising she made a mistake and it was NOT GLUTEN FREE! They asked if I needed an ambulance...assured them no but in a few days I will be “glutened”. They had zero knowledge of food allergies. The manager wanted to comp my meal but not my drinks, after asking again then i was comped for meal and drinks and given a gift card that will never be used by me.
This place is awesome! Not only do they have GF options clearly marked they also mark options that can be made GF! There are a ton of choices on the menu and they even have a large selection of gluten free beer and cider! It's a whole column on the menu!! Staff seemed knowledgeable. I'm pretty sensitive to cross contamination and did not get sick.
While the menu offers a large number of gluten free items, as well as many that are optionally gluten free, neither the service staff nor the kitchen appeared to be familiar with Celiac's disease. A Caesar salad was ordered gluten free, yet came with croutons and a roll. The replacement salad, which the server said was made fresh, still had gluten-bearing croutons. While neither of the Celiac diners in our party had an side effects from our dinner, we would be very cautious about eating at Sedona Taphouse again.
Fantastic- cannot say enough good things about this place. Steak, seafood, flatbreads, salads- all are amazing. Great martinis and tons of craft beer offerings, including gluten free options. I eat here regularly with my husband and family (I am celiac, they are not) and have never had a problem. They love it as much as I do!
This place is brand new and their menu is very gluten free friendly. Many items are naturally gluten free (appetizers, ALL sides, some desserts, happy hour menu), and then others are listed as "gluten free options," where a modification can be made. My new favorite!
this place knows Gluten! They have an extensive menu, GF and GFO. They have dedicated cooking techniques. Last night was the first of hopefully many visits for me. Apparently the CEOs wife has some type of gluten affliction so they are very serious. I had GF crab cakes and they were delish!
Twice exposed at Sedona, despite attentive order-taking. I was accidentally served non-GF flatbread and tacos on two separate occasions, despite confirmation that they were GF. They either need stricter serving practices or to remove GF options from their menu.
They have a nice gluten free menu, but when I ordered a gluten free salad the first time eating there it had bread on top. I'm pretty sure they just removed the bread when I asked them to remake it because I got sick that night. I have been back since and haven't had any problems
Food was delicious. Unfortunately not GF, my gut is still burning. Another restaurant that has poor technique! They think if the contents are gluten free, they can have a menu with gluten free items. This restaurant should not be on this website!
This was one of the most accommodating places I have visited. I am on the six food elimination diet and the server went back to the chef a couple of times to check on certain meals. They also had beer I could drink, which was the forts time in 2 months. The menu has numerous items available, and the staff is more than helpful. Not to mention, the food was pretty good. I would visit again.
Yes! So many options, and so clearly marked on the regular menu! Their GF pasta is easily my favorite around Cville, and their main entrees have never disappointed either. Lots of options both on tap and in bottle, cider and beer (though beer has only been in bottle). Staff very friendly and accommodating.
