I ordered migas & asked if they were gluten free. Initially I was told that they were, but the potatoes on the side were not & they would leave the potatoes off the plate. But when they bought out my plate, the potatoes were there. And then the manager came out to tell me that the chips were also not gluten free because they were fried in the same oil as everything else. I doubt that I could go back after that experience

Always love Seis at any location! Most of their items are gluten free but be aware that the chips are not fried in a dedicated fryer so there is risk for cross contamination.

Seis offers great food, lovely outdoor seating, and is an iconic Tucson restaurant. The menu isn’t labeled, but most of the food is GF, you just need to ask and avoid the occupied gluten-containing menu items such as the flour tortillas and beer-battered items.

I have eaten many of their tacos and nachos with no reaction, but unsure about if they have a separate frier for chips or not. The homemade corn tortillas, calabacitas, tacos, and beverages are great.

The online menu inconsistently marks gluten free, but usually I feel comfortable making a judgement call. I had chicken tinga tacos with cabacitas, chips, and the seis sauce (a chipotle cream) and Cochata. It’s the best Mexican food I’ve had in Tucson so far.

Seis Kitchen was delicious! I ordered the chicken tinga tacos, with black beans as a side. I also got chips and salsa and guacamole. These items were definitely gluten free, but unfortunately the menu doesn’t mark GF items. The restaurant has outdoor seating only, which is not great for Tucson summers. There were also many flies which had to be constantly swatted away while eating. Amazing food, but didn’t love the environment.

Wow, this place is amazing!! We had a fantastic meal here. Restaurants like this are the reason Tucson has its gastronomy designation. We are at the location in town. We will try this one next since it’s closer.

We got carry out and when I called the employee was very knowledgeable and helpful with our gluten allergy. Their website is a bit confusing- when you filter for GF, only one item shows up. But when I called, I was told most of the menu is in fact GF. Chips are made in a separate fryer and were light and delicious. The salsa and guacamole we ordered were fantastic. It can be scary trying a new restaurant as a celiac, but we had zero issues and really enjoyed our meal.

My chicken tinga tacos were soooo good. So fresh and flavorful. The fresh corn tortillas really were fantastic.

I can’t say enough good things about our meal here. The food was ready when they said it would be, was packaged well with silverware and napkins. The portions were generous and a good value I feel.

Most of the meats are gluten free normally with exception of barbacoa (this is traditionally prepared and includes beer.) I usually order grilled shrimp tacos on corn tortilla, sides include black beans and squash calbacitas.
