Best gluten free pizza in town!
I adore the food here. The owners and servers are incredibly nice. They almost feel like family. The only drawback is that service can be slow. I never go when I am in a hurry and I enjoy it there.
Wait for a table was long but worth it. The service was fine and didn't seem to take too long. Pizza was great and the real star was the hot from the oven GF brownie. Also great to be able to have GF beer with the pizza a lot of GF pizza places overlook that. Pizza seems very small for the high price, but the salad was huge.
At the Sellwood Pizza Kitchen you can find a large variety of Gluten Free items including our famous Gluten Free Pizza.
This place was very busy. We have been waiting about 20 minutes since we ordered our cheese bread and pizzas and so far nothing has come to the table.
The owner and her daughter have been by a few times and there very pleasant.
However my daughter and I are so hungry we're starting to get a little grumpy.
They said you can order any pizza to be gluten free. My daughter ordered thai pizza and was told that was the only pizza that is not available gluten free.
After 25 minutes the cheese bread came out and it is tasty. The crust is nice and crispy and the dough is moist but a little spongy.
The restaurant is extremely clean. The bathrooms are spotless and offer a cup of mouthwash if desired.
The short of it: great food but service is slow and on the expensive side.
The long of it: 35 minutes and no pizza yet and we told that it will be 8 more minutes. we definitely should have ordered salads and beverages.
The cost for the 2 pizzas (the vortex and bbq chicken) was $60. With tip that comes out to $72. This is a bit on the spendy side for me.
