It’s so great to have a gluten free Italian option! I could have ordered everything off the menu! What we got was great, and next time I’m in NYC I’m coming back!

Absolutely the BEST dedicated gluten free restaurant in NY; as a matter of fact, probably one of the best restaurants around regardless of gluten free or not. I am a Brooklyn born and raised second generation Italian who grew up on traditional homemade Italian food and this place is fantastic! I now live in the Hudson Valley and have made several trips down for lunch or dinner. We have consistently had great service and delicious meals whether we are a party of two or a party of 6 - never disappointed. I highly recommend.

I ate in this bakery with a friend we ordered an avocado toast and a chicken toast and we splitted, they both were delicious. We also had blueberry pancakes .....very tasty and good. The service was fine. 100 % gluten free.

This restaurant was highly recommended for our trip to NYC and we were sadly quite disappointed. We didn’t have a reservation which was fine so we sat outside on their patio but the staff was rude about us not having a reservation and forgot to get us menus for over 10-15 minutes. We were contemplating leaving and finding somewhere else to go when the waiter finally came over with menus. We each had a different Gnocchi dish. My husband’s was alright but both were under seasoned and quite bland. Not worth the price tag associated with it to us. We also ate at Bistango and had an amazing experience so I would recommend there over this place if you’re looking for Italian.

They have tiramisu! They have all sorts of gluten free pastas, stuffed raviolis, penne, spaghetti, lasagna, etc etc etc. artisanal breads… gluten free Italian. As a person with celiac, it was so comforting to let my guard down in an Italian restaurant and just enjoy the food experience.

We came here based on a very emphatic recommendation from a friend who has a celiac son who said that their entire family loved it so much that they came multiple times during their NYC visit. The restaurant didn’t live up to her hype. It wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t great. My non-GF family thought it was just meh. The best part of the meal were the rice balls we had for the appetizer. Also, if you visit here, they only accept Amex or cash.

Had an excellent meal here, it’s such a treat to be able to safely and confidently order Italian food. Arancini was great as was the pasta with truffle! Servers were very attentive and nice ambiance.

I had the gnocchi special and sadly misunderstood that it was coming in a heavy cream and cheese sauce. While tasty, it was super rich (for me) and could only eat so much of it. My husband had the fettuccine Bolognese and said it was delicious. Drinks were good and the bread brought to the table was tasty. Something to know if you dine here…they only take American Express or cash. We did not know this and while we were okay, it did give us a moment of “uh oh.”

Was really looking forward to this restaurant due to its high ratings on any GF restaurant list in NYC. Marinara was thin and barely clung to the calamari, and the mushroom risotto was BLAND— it desperately needed garlic, salt and taste. Cannot recommend the food as it all was BLAND. The bread looked like Italian bread but was BLAND—totally lacking any flavor.

Very nice restaurant with amazing food! Pasta was cooked perfectly. Breads were excellent and dessert of Tiramisu was a perfect ending.

Expensive, but worth it. Everything is gluten free and my non-celiac boyfriend said it didn’t taste «glutenfree» at all. Got the lasanga and pasta. You can only pay with American Express or cash, but they do have an ATM in the restuarant.

Yes this is gluten free but extremely over priced and very little flavor. Slow service and cold fries. How do you mess up fries?! Not a fan.

Caprese sandwich with fries not good. Fries were cold and stale for $28 Gave us very little bread and when ask for more charged $5

Definitely not worth the price go to the store and make your own for 1/2 and will be much better taste.

We had lunch with our kids and didn't feel comfortable here. It was quiet with only three tables occupied. And it felt like they didn't want us there. Great that the menu is gluten-free. My kids had the pizza, but didn't like it because of the overload of cheese on it. Too bad, maybe next time better.

Amazing authentic Italian food. Took my Mon here for her birthday. My Mon, son and I all have celiac. It was so nice to know that everything was gluten free. So many choices. We loved the calamari, chicken parmesan, and ravioli. The chocolate eclair was so incredible. If you are in NYC and are looking for an outstanding gluten free meal visit this wonderful restaurant!

Amazing experience! I haven’t been able to enjoy good tasting warm bread in the olive oil and balsamic in soooo long and there’s was incredible. I also had the gnocchi bolognese and it was super delicious. I’m amazed that this place is fully gf. 10/10 would absolutely go back.

Nice but kind of pricey. It is a good option for gluten free fine Italian food as long as you realize that.

Because we were in a rush to make it to a play, we only had time for appetizers. But what we had was good (calamari, arrancini, and fried cauliflower). My oldest (who has celiac) was also pleased with the bread.

The staff at senza were fantastic! Everything was gluten free, including the alcohol!! I have multiple allergies, when I asked our server if she knew the ingredients to a dish she was able to list them for me on the spot! A bit on the pricey side, but it’s worth it to have food that tastes good and is completely safe.

Visiting a friend in the city we came across Senza. I’ve never had a more delicious GF Italian experience! I strongly recommend the ravioli with mushrooms in a white sauce and the rice balls. If I had Senza in Cleveland, I’d surely eat here weekly!

I've ordered delivery from here twice. I got the penne al pomodoro and the pane fatto in casa (bread basket). The pasta was delicious, though it did break a bit as I tried to pick it up with the fork. The sauce was light and flavorful. The bread was much better the first time I ordered but the second time was a bit stale. There's a variety of three types of bread and all of them were tasty, but the one that was most like Italian bread was my favorite. Well worth eating from here and can't wait to try more!

We stopped in for a late lunch. What an absolute surprise! Everything was delicious. The 6 of us shared pizza, panini, salad, and ravioli. We had to take baked goods with us because we were so full. The service was wonderful.

I ate here with my husband because I thought it would be nice to have lasagna. I was very disappointed. Very little pasta and mostly cheese and sauce. Also had bread which I enjoyed. My husband had gnocchi that was too mushy. The apple desert was only ok. We didn’t like the crust. Service was very good

What a wonderful birthday experience! It was such a relief to know what I was eating was not cross contaminated and oh so very delicious. My gluten earing family super enjoyed their food, too. Between the four of us we tried the veal, chicken parm, ravioli, and a penne dish. All were delicious, but the veal really stole the show. Service and ambiance were stellar and it was quite lovely all around. It is not cheap and they take cash or American Express only, so be prepared for that.

This place so good. I have celiac so I ate brunch here daily while in New York City. Had the Eggs Benedict both days and took some blueberry muffins back to the hotel. Soooooo delicious. 100% Gluten free, celiac safe and delicious. I look forward to eating here every time I am in NYC. Staff very kind and wonderful.
