Honestly paradise. Everything is clearly marked for other, non-gluten allergens as well! I got a s'mores bar and a cinnamon bun. The cinnamon buns were the best GF buns I've ever had. Not a single part was hard or flaky and they were so tender with the right amount of icing.
Really… average.
I will start off by saying that the menu changes regularly- and the team is transparent about staffing and ingredient shortages. So that’s fun to see new stuff!
I’ve eaten just about everything on the menu. The best thing on the menu is the cheese puffs. I’d say they are a bit better than Brazzi Bites. Huge fan of the dill pickle ones, but not great consistency of amount of pickle in each one.
I enjoy the quiche, but it’s crustless… so that’s pretty disappointing. I will pick up and freeze a couple so when I’m in a lull I at least have something.
What kills me here is the amount of sugar in everything. You can tell because you want to chug a glass of water after a brownie, and not feeling super great after. Doesn’t mean they aren’t flavorful, they just aren’t balanced deserts. It also is painful to see a bakery use store bought marshmallows (in their s’mores bars). Things like this contribute to the overly sugary structure of all of their baked goods.
Don’t get me wrong- everything is fun, and yummy… but it’s just incorrect. I also find issue with the fact they don’t do any savory items outside of the “breakfast cookies”, “paleo muffins”, “quiche” and cheese bites. *those items are mostly just eggs btw
Sweet baked goods are easy… it’s the savory items (crust on a quiche, pretzels, breads, pizzas, etc…) that really elevate a GF bakery and showcase talent that Senza has really missed the mark on.
I will continue to patron Senza but I am yet to be impressed or wanting more. It is important for us to support our local spots so the community has options, but we should still have standards and expect greatness.
They use a spray with soy in it for many of their goods, but enough that they do not that I got to try the lemon bar and cinnamon roll. The lemon was divine, the cinnamon roll was too sweet for me and I let my partner finish it. They made me decaf coffee on the spot, but I could not finish it. It tasted like soap, most likely from not throroughly rinsing the carafe.
My partner got the mini sugar cookies, the first one was good, the second one had an "artificial" taste to it that ruined the cookie for him. He also got a cinnamon roll which he agreed was too sweet.
For what it is, it is cute, it hit my sweet spot—I wont go again over the coffee (is this place clean enough?) and due to the aersolized soy (most likely lecithen, but I still react to it...). I felt I was getting a mild reaction from sitting and reading in the establishment. They also make some things with peanuts in them as well. The kitchen can be seen into without a barrier which is why I am knocking down a heart in terms of safety, it is very close to the entrance+cash register.
We stopped here after a trip to Death Valley since we had plenty of time before our flight out of Vegas. It was a really cute little bakery with a few tables for those enjoying their goodies onsite. Very friendly staff and you could see back into part of the kitchen. I had a cinnamon roll and sugar cookie and enjoyed both. The frosted sugar cookie was the closest I've found to replace the Lofthouse brand sold in all the grocery stores. If I weren't trying to lose some weight, I would have bought many things to take home and try! Everything looked delicious!
Very good. They had black trays with items that were also dairy free. They had a variety of bars, scones, donuts, cupcakes, cookies, cake, quiche. So many choices and dedicated gluten free facility. They had a few tables so we could sit and enjoy our selections. They had a cold case with drinks for purchase as well. I would come back here.
Love this place! There were so many choices and everthing we ordered was delicious. Our favorites were the boston cream cupcake, pecan cake, and a cinnamon role. Wish there had been an option for delivery to our hotel though, we would have placed another order during our vacation. Highly recommend to everyone who needs to stay away from gluten. Thanks!
100% Dedicated gluten free location... So amazing to walk into a place and KNOW you're not going to have a reaction to anything. The crustless quiche was delicious and the pastries were fantastic. I got a fresh, still warm cinnamon roll and it was so good. Very highly recommend this location! They were also aware of other nut, soy and dairy allergens as well!
The best GF desserts I have ever had. Their crack bars are the best!
This place is heaven. As soon as you walk in you’ll realize you made the right decision to come here.
I had an Italian sausage quiche, cinnamon bun, chocolate donut, a coffee, and a taco cheese puff for less than $20.
For the savory items: the cheese puff is to die for. The texture is super squashy and gooey and the flavor is just like a little taco. The quiche is really flavorful, fluffy, and full of wholesome ingredients, almost like a little mini frittata with no crust. A crust would ruin it honestly, it’s perfect the way it is!
For the sweet items: the cinnamon roll is not too sweet at all. It’s soft and gooey, it reminds me of those Auntie Anne’s cinnamon bites (if you developed celiac later in life like me). The donut is dense and soft, but so delightfully tender and has a little hint of lemon. I dipped it in my coffee and it was just so pleasant. I haven’t had a donut in years! I didn’t find these too sweet like another reviewer on here. I add minimal sugar to everything - nutpods only for my coffee, ½ the sugar in my recipes… I can’t stand stuff that’s too sweet. I found these treats very well balanced and with a depth of flavor that far surpasses any other GF bakery I’ve visited.
The staff is super friendly, the place feels like home. I love it here. I wish I was a local because I would order stuff in bulk and take it home! I will be visiting every time I come to Vegas.
I was excited to find a dedicated gluten free place in the area. I’ve been to many gluten free bakeries across the country, and though everyone was nice and I didn’t get sick, their offerings weren’t to my taste.
They had a handful of dairy-free items, and one vegan option.
I was hoping for cakes, muffins and the like.
They had items like dense donuts, cookies, amores bars, and. Lot of items that were quiche-like. I was co fused by one item, which was marked as Paleo, but she told me it wasn’t dairy-free… maybe they classify “egg”! As dairy? I have no idea. They also had a lot made with oats.
They’re nice, and if you like the types of baked goods they have to offer, it might be for you. It just wasn’t for me.
We traveled from Ohio with my daughter who has severe celiacs. This place was a gem!!! They had a wonderful variety in their dedicated gluten free bakery. We got a little of everything from pizza bombs to cookies, donuts, brownies and cake. Everything was delicious! I hold highly recommend for a safe bakery to enjoy and not worry!
Have been here twice. The first time was about 4 years ago so I am grateful they made it through the pandemic. Very reasonably priced and everything was tasty!
Amazing gluten free facility! So many different options to choose from.
