The ciccloetti (spelling?), first thing on the top left of the menu. Oh my goodness! They are like little fried savory beignets. We ordered the middle one. They were so good! We also both ordered a sandwich. In hindsight, we could have split one since we ordered the appetizer. We left stuffed and happy. We also tried the Pinot Grigio and Prosecco and enjoyed them, too.
Went to the sandwich and salad spot (not the Osteria), which was great. Cute space with fresh focaccia being made on the regular. Sandwiches are crisp and fresh out of the oven with a lot of variety from white choose.
Wines and good selection of GF beers available along with aperol, Campari and other spritzes.
Great little spot with good, busy vibe at lunchtime.
This is the best sandwich i’ve ever had in my entire life. I got the “Dell’Aia” which is roasted turkey, mozzarella, and baked zucchini. I’m not even a huge zucchini person but this sandwich was incredible. The focaccia bread was absolutely delicious and tasted like what I remember bread used to taste like. Overall very friendly and patient staff, not too expensive, and very conveniently located around a bunch of shops. Definitely recommend!
The focaccia sandwiches were wonderful. Very friendly staff served us very quickly and offered bags so we could enjoy the other half of our large sandwiches later. We bought the cookies to enjoy with wine. Delicious! So very good and we would highly recommend them for excellent sandwiches on delicious focaccia. And to be 100 percent gluten free was amazing!
You have to visit this sandwhich shop if you are in Florence. The best focaccia you have ever tasted and they were happy to mix and match fillings so ask away. Whole place is entirely gf and be warned the portion sizes are massive so unless you are starving these sandwiches are more sharers. Do not hesitate, owners were great and very welcoming. Thank you 😍
Incredible. Got lunch twice and an extra takeout for the train. The focaccia is pillowy and hearty and we felt like we were dreaming; didn’t know we could have a sandwich like this ever again!! Great for dairy free too — just sub out cheese for the “cream” of artichoke, tomato, or pistachio and you’ll be in heaven!
Great sandwiches! Very small restaurant, we waited outside but it was worth the wait. Everything is GF and prices reasonable and staff friendly
We split the BRUSCHETTA LARDO E PORCINI as a starter and it was absolutely delicious. I forgot that I was eating gluten free bread while I was here, it was so delicious. For my main course I had a sandwich with mozzarella, cooked ham, zucchini, and some type of truffle cream. The sandwiches were big and I had to take half home. The food was amazing, the place had a cute atmosphere, and the price was very affordable. Loved it and would go back!
One of the best gf food experiences in Italy! Dedicated gf restaurant with both a seating area and a separate ”hole in the wall” for take away. They serve large sandwiches with great taste and consistency, without a doubt the best gf sandwich I have ever had. My wife, who usually does not eat gf, was super impressed.
