Had a wonderful blackened grouper dinner with steamed asparagus and sweet potato fries. I’m not celiac so not as worried about cross contamination, but they were very accommodating to me.

Waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about which menu items could be ordered gf. I had shrimp and grits, my son had the nachos (actually an appetizer, but big enough to be a dinner entree for a teen boy after several hours on the beach and in the ocean). We were both very pleased with our meal. I found the grits to be very good, cooked just right, with huge shrimp. My younger sons (7 and 8 years old) split a 10" gf pizza, and both liked it. We sat outside along the dock, and enjoyed the atmosphere and view as we ate.

Staff is NOT knowledgeable and some don’t know what gluten is. They do, however, have gluten-free shrimp and grits. Obviously the kitchen isn’t dedicated gluten-free but having at least one option is helpful as there aren’t many places to eat on Ocean Isle.
No
Not a gluten free friendly place. Some of The wait staff doesn't understand what has wheat or gluten in it. If you have Celiac don't eat here
