Staff is willing to change gloves and said they could handle someone with a gluten allergy/celiac. However, in watching them prepare the food there is clear cross contamination. Pita is heated on the same grill and the same utensils are used. For someone without celiac I’d highly recommend it as the food is good!
No
Not celiac friendly. They were open and honest. Their pitas and fries contain gluten. The rest of their food is contaminated as they warm the pitas on the grill everything is made. Staff was helpful and polite and willing to talk with me as I asked questions.
No
I was hesitant to try but after reading the reviews I had to try. I was greeted when I entered and When I inquired on gluten free options, just Incase is changes, Ziad confirmed everything is gluten free except the bread. He confirmed the utensils are not cross contaminated. I had the Lamb bowl and it was amazing.
I messaged the restaurant to inquire on allergens. Ziad quickly responded with great detail regarding gluten and dairy. Everything is gluten free except Pita. Items are dairy free if yogurt or feta is not specifically called out. I've had the 2 kabob Kafta Platter. it's was pretty good. I haven't tried the lentil soup yet. Too full! I've now eaten there several times without reaction. $8.99 for a SwarmaBowl...FASTFOOD!!! Extremely filling with fries, rice, veggies, and whatever meat.
Update: I often felt a little funny after eating here. I thought it was the garlic sauce. After several visits the owner then lets me know the French fries are not GF. Thanks for tell me! I haven’t been back BUT as long as you know the fries are not GF the food is tasty and reasonably prices.
I love the chicken bowl! The sauces are so good! Did not have any issues :-)
